This explains what personal data Brimbley collects, why, and what you can do about it. We are the data controller for the data described here.
What we collect
- Account: your email, a scrambled (hashed) password or your Google sign-in, plan and credit balance.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We get your Stripe customer ID, what you paid and when, and a card fingerprint used only to stop repeat trials. We never see or store your full card number.
- What you upload and make: photos, product images, video clips, voice recordings, scripts and the results.
- Usage: which tools you use, render status and basic server logs, for running the service, billing and stopping abuse.
Photos and voices of you
When you use Star in your ad or upload your own voice, your face and voice are used only to make the video you asked for. They are not used to train models, not shared with other users and not used to identify you. Delete them from your library at any time.
Who processes data for us
- Stripe for payments and tax.
- fal.ai and the model makers it runs (such as Google, OpenAI, Black Forest Labs, MiniMax, ElevenLabs and HeyGen), which receive the inputs needed for each render.
- OpenRouter for writing scripts and plans.
- Google if you sign in with Google.
- Our hosting and email providers.
Some of them are outside the EU. Transfers rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
Why we may use it (legal basis)
- To provide the service you signed up for (contract).
- To keep accounting records (legal obligation).
- To prevent fraud, trial abuse and misuse (legitimate interest).
How long we keep it
Uploads and results are kept while your account is open, or until you delete them. Payment records are kept as long as accounting law requires, usually 5 years. Closed accounts are deleted within 30 days, except what we must keep by law.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, object to or limit its use, and take it with you. Write to the support address on our website. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
